| Filling the GAP – Granton Archive Project | 6,000 | Granton:hub has a great deal of grassroots knowledge and holds an archive with a wide range of documents, photographs, audio and video resources which record the social and cultural heritage of the area.
The ‘Filling the GAP’ Granton Archive Project aims to review the archive and to create a long-lasting cultural and heritage resource, which is accessible to all, setting the foundations for granton:hub’s future impact in the area. The project will also help to increase confidence, provide an opportunity to socialise, and to find a shared interest with people from different backgrounds who live in the local area (but not excluding others). Consulting the community on the expansion of the archive, to let them know their stories are important in the continuing history of the Granton area. |
