Good Roots Community Garden Stenhouse 4,788 The Community Garden was designed for people of all faiths and none, to build community cohesion, provide food for the community,  and support diversionary activities for children, young people, ex-offenders and those who are socially isolated.

A community has built around the garden, with regular attendance from a number of local people, young and old, at gardening sessions, work days and community lunches.

Funding was granted to to develop a new space in the garden where being in a wheelchair or having reduced mobility is no barrier to participation and to be able to employ a Community Gardener to run the sessions.
