Bikes for Refugees (Scotland) is a unique and successful community project with high impact and social return on investment. With strength in simplicity with access to bicycles and the transformational power of cycling providing freedom of movement and a free means of travel to isolated, excluded and socio-economically disadvantaged New Scots (refugees and asylum seekers).

The funded project will be concerned with the refurbishment and
distribution of bicycles and New Scots Welcome Packs to individuals and
families as a way of promoting social inclusion, reducing loneliness and
isolation, addressing poverty, and promoting mental health and wellbeing.
