Lyceum Theatre’s Ukrainian Performance Appeal 2,000

Founded in 1965, The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company is Scotland’s leading producing theatre. The Lyceum has a strong reputation for excellence in both classical and contemporary work, presenting up to ten productions each season to over 100,000 people. In addition to award-winning productions, the Lyceum is committed to serving all Edinburgh residents by offering an extensive community outreach programme across the city.

With the cost-of-living soaring, attending a theatre performance during Christmas can seem like a luxury for many people cannot afford.  This statement is especially true for the displaced Ukrainian refugees of Edinburgh who were forced to flee a war-torn country and spend this Christmas away from home, family and friends.

Funding will contribute towards a free performance of ‘An Edinburgh Christmas Carol’ for 600 displaced Ukrainian families from across Edinburgh.
