| Edinburgh Smart Works Centre | 5,000 | Smart Works gives unemployed women the confidence and communication skills they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives. Women in disadvantaged circumstances are referred to Smart Works by partners such as a Job Centre, care service, women’s refuge or youth charity.
Smart Works provide one-to one coaching support with job applications and interview skills and provide a complete interview outfit of quality donated workwear. Following a job offer, they provide items for a ‘capsule working wardrobe’ to see women through the working week. Funding will be used for staff salary costs to support the operational delivery of the Edinburgh Centre for the next 12 months. |
