The overall aim is to alleviate the effects of poverty on individuals/families, through the provision of short term/long-term support services including a foodbank, community pantry, children’s healthy snacks, assistance with school uniform/Christmas, advice provision, employability support, holiday programme for local school children, outreach in neighbouring area of The Calders and a home fuel support programme. The funding will contribute towards the cost of a Development Worker. |
