The project was funded to contribute towards an open community event, bringing together a range of organisations who could offer practical help to residents in the Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny area who were experiencing difficulty arising from the impact of welfare reforms and other issues associated with living in one on the most deprived areas of Edinburgh at a time of general economic hardship. To promote inclusion, reduce stigma and encourage participation. |
