Big Hearts is a family-focused charity based at Tynecastle Park – the home of Heart of Midlothian Football Club. This project will target those aged 65+ who are experiencing social isolation, loneliness and a reduction in wellbeing – both men and women from a wide range of backgrounds, including those living with dementia and other long term health conditions. The funding will extend the existing support to this group as well as responding to these specific needs by delivering a series of small group outdoor sessions over the summer months to help ease the burden of isolation and transition back to the regular Memories sessions at Tynecastle. |
