| South Edinburgh Day Care Volunteers Forum | 2,000 | The South Edinburgh day centre volunteers’ forum is a consortium of local lunch groups that meet over 5 days, 6 sessions per week; each session lasting 6 hours with 96 people per week in attendance. As well as getting a hot meal and the chance to socialise and be with friends, the members engage in a varied activity program that includes exercise classes, arts and craft and film making.
The money was awarded towards the cost of the consortiums specially adapted transport to collect members from their homes to bring them to and from the club. |
